Jubilee Year of 2025 Pilgrims of Hope

February 28-March 2, 2025 (in Spanish) | June 6-8, 2025 (in English) There are claims stating that abortion will solve the problem. However, these claims do not address the landslide of problems it creates – feelings of sadness, guilt, grief, isolation, and depression. Rachel’s Ministry Retreat allows the healing process to begin for those who suffer from the traumas of abortion by offering Jesus’ forgiveness and healing love and the hope and promise of resurrection.

January 25 | The 21st Annual Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco. This event is an important opportunity to stand together in defense of life and human dignity. It is a simple, joyful and beautiful expression of the hope we have for the life of all people. Come and join us.

January 25 | Tweens (Ages 10*-12): 9 AM - Noon | Teens (Ages 13-16): 1- 5 PM |Our Divine Savior Parish Chico | The Mother-Daughter Programs explore God’s special gift of human fertility and the beauty and wonder of God’s plan for growing up and becoming a woman. The Teen and Tween Programs cover similar subject matter while differing in depth and scope. All presentations are pure, lighthearted and affirming! Girls younger than 10 who are already developing and showing signs of puberty are welcome to attend.

January 24 | 5:30 PM Dinner | 6 PM Program | Our Divine Savior Parish |566 E. Lassen Avenue · Chico | The Father-Son Program explores God’s special gift of human sexuality and fertility as well as the goodness and wonder of his plan for growing up and becoming a man of integrity. It is designed for fathers* and their 12-16 year old sons. All content is pure, light-hearted and affirming. *If the father is not available, the son can be accompanied by another supportive adult.

January 22, 2025 | 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm | Cathedral of The Blessed Sacrament Sacramento | Bishop Soto, joined by members of the clergy of Sacramento, will offer a Mass of Reparation for the sin of legalized abortion inflicting the people of California.

First Sundays, St. Joseph Chapel | 6-7 PM

In the St. Joseph School Cafeteria, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, and they need your help with donations of baked goods and crafts delivered to the school on November 30th, 10 AM-Noon. Money raised will help this wonderful ministry focus on outreach in the Redding community. They help neighbors in need primarily with rent, food, clothing, and utilities, plus connect them with other local resources. These compassionate volunteers work tirelessly to ensure no one faces hardship alone.
