Bishop Jaime Soto will preside at the annual Chrism Mass at the Cathedral on Thursday, April 10,
2025, at 6pm.
Bishop Soto and the priests of the diocese will pray for God’s continued blessings on the local
church of Sacramento. The priests will renew their priestly promises.
The Chrism Mass is one of our most important Diocesan celebrations where Bishop Soto will bless
the Holy Oils that are used in sacramental celebrations in all the parishes of the Diocese
throughout the coming year.

Rooted in the Sacraments and the Twelve Steps of Recovery, CIR supports everyone on their recovery journey, welcoming all into a compassionate, faith-filled community.

Rachel’s Ministry Retreat allows the healing process to begin for those who suffer from the traumas of abortion by offering Jesus’ forgiveness and healing love and the hope and promise of resurrection.

The Mother-Daughter Programs explore God’s special gift of human fertility and the beauty and wonder of God’s plan for growing up and becoming a woman. The Teen and Tween Programs cover similar subject matter while differing in depth and scope. All presentations are pure, lighthearted and affirming! Girls younger than 10 who are already developing and showing signs of puberty are welcome to attend.

In the St. Joseph School Cafeteria, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, and they need your help with donations of baked goods and crafts delivered to the school on November 30th, 10 AM-Noon.
Money raised will help this wonderful ministry focus on outreach in the Redding community. They help neighbors in need primarily with rent, food, clothing, and utilities, plus connect them with other local resources. These compassionate volunteers work tirelessly to ensure no one faces hardship alone.
